Performance characteristics:
Ammonia decomposition catalyst has a smooth shape, easy to fill, avoid bridging,
uniform airflow distribution, excellent heat transfer and mass transfer performance, strong low carbon resistance.
H2O:C The lower limit of the experimental value is 2.0. The actual low limit of long-term operation is 2.70,
and the short-term reaches 2.40. The bed resistance is uniform and stable. Under normal operating conditions,
the bed resistance will hardly rise during use. Excellent low temperature activity, the lowest inlet
temperature in actual operation can reach 400 ℃. Excellent anti-mildew performance.

Ammonia decomposition is a reversible reaction under the action of ammonia decomposition catalyst.Nickel-based catalyst containing more than 14% nickel is generally used. This reaction is an endothermic reaction, and the ideal temperature is 800-860 °C. At the same time, it is a reaction that the gas volume increases. The gas volume increases by about 2 times before and after the reaction, so the pressure of the reaction should not be too high, generally about 0.05MPa. If the pressure is too high, it is not conducive to the decomposition of ammonia.And it will also reduce the life of the ammonia decomposition catalyst.

This reaction is carried out gradually with the increase of the temperature of ammonia in the decomposition furnace. The table shows the composition of the gas mixture at different temperatures when ammonia is decomposed. It can be seen from this that ammonia decomposes slowly from 270 °C, while The decomposition is basically completed when it reaches 625 °C, so the decomposition temperature is generally controlled above 800 °C. The volume ratio of the final product is H275%, N225%.
