1. Claus sulfur recovery catalyst is mainly used in the sulfur recovery unit of the refinery, the furnace gas purification system, the city gas purification system, the synthetic ammonia, the barium and strontium salt industry, and the sulfur recovery device after desulfurization and regeneration in the methanol plant;
2. Under the action of the catalyst, the claus reaction is carried out to produce industrial sulfur;
3. Depending on the operating conditions, the maximum conversion rate of H2S can reach more than 96.5%, the hydrolysis rate of COS and CS2 can reach 99% and 70%, the temperature range is 180℃-400℃, and the maximum temperature resistance is 600℃.

Product Introduction

The claus sulfur recovery catalyst in claus process is one of the methods used to remove hydrogen sulfide generated during the combustion of fossil fuels and geothermal power generation. The hydrogen sulfide is not completely burned, and the generated sulfur dioxide reacts with hydrogen sulfide to generate sulfur.

The purity of sulfur extracted by claus sulfur recovery catalyst can reach 99.8%. It can not only be used as a sulfur resource for the production of sulfuric acid, but also as a chemical raw material for other departments.

In the claus process sulfur recovery process, it is roughly divided into two stages: thermal reaction stage and catalytic stage.

The first is the thermal reaction stage. The H2S gas generated in the production process enters the reaction furnace, undergoes a redox reaction with a certain amount of air, and generates a large amount of waste heat. The waste heat boiler after the reaction furnace device can recover this heat for the temperature of the catalytic stage. Control and alkali recovery are used in other sections; then enter the catalytic stage, under the action of high temperature catalysis, sulfur steam begins to be generated, mainly in the form of S2. As the process temperature gradually decreases, S2 gradually becomes S6, S8.

In the reaction, the volume ratio of hydrogen sulfide to sulfur dioxide gas in the combustion product is 2:1. After that, the combustion gas is cooled, and the sulfur in the gas is condensed and recovered. The remaining gas is heated and then enters the Claus reactor for reaction.

Under the action of Claus sulfur recovery catalyst, sulfur and water are mainly produced from hydrogen sulfide and sulfur dioxide. The gas after the reaction also needs to be cooled to recover sulfur.
