The 13X zeolite molecular sieve for PSA device is specifically designed for absorption of CO2 and H2O in the air freezing separation industry. With greater capacity and faster adsorption, it can remove CO2 and H2O to prevent bed gelation and is suitable for any air freezing separation facility of any size and type in the world.

Regeneration

13X zeolite molecular sieve for PSA device can be regenerated by operating under heating; or operating under reduced pressure.

To remove moisture from 13X molecular sieve, a temperature of 250-300°C is necessary. Normal regenerated molecular sieves can give moisture below -100°C, or mercaptans or carbon dioxide below 2ppm.

The outlet concentration in the swing process depends on the gas pressure and operating process.

Application

1) Gas purification in the air separation device to remove water and carbon dioxide.

2) Drying and desulfurization of natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas and liquid hydrocarbons.

3) General gas deep drying.

13X Zeolite molecular sieve also includes: removal of hydrocarbons; drying and purification of ammonia synthesis gas; desulfurization and deodorization of aerosol propellants; CO2 removal from cracked gas; catalyst carrier; co-adsorption of water and carbon dioxide; co-adsorption of water and hydrogen sulfide gas, etc.

Adsorption Principle

1) Principle of flocculation: when used for flocculation, 13X zeolite molecular sieve  is related to the surface properties of the flocculated material, especially the potentiodynamic potential, viscosity, turbidity and PH value of the suspension. The potentiodynamic potential of the particle surface is the reason for the inhibition of particle aggregation. Adsorbents with opposite charges can reduce the potentiodynamic potential and cause aggregation.

2) Adsorption bridging: molecular chains are fixed on the surfaces of different particles, and polymer bridges are formed between the particles, so that the particles form aggregates and settle.

3) Surface adsorption: Various adsorption of polar group particles on molecules.

4) Reinforcing effect: The molecular chain and the dispersed phase connect the dispersed phase together to form a network through various mechanical, physical, chemical and other effects.
