According to the characteristics of industrial applications, the 5A molecular sieve we produce has faster adsorption speed, more regeneration times, and higher resistance. The crushing strength and anti-pollution ability improve the utilization efficiency of it and prolong the service life of it. It is the first-selected desiccant necessary for deep drying, refining and polymerization of gas and liquid phases in the petroleum and chemical industries.


The microporous channel is an 8-membered ring structure, and the effective pore size of the 5A molecular sieve obtained by Ca ion exchange is about 5.1A. The equivalent weight of a single n-paraffin is about 4.9A, while the equivalent diameter of a non-n-paraffin is greater than 5.5A. Therefore, n-alkanes can enter the 5A molecular sieve channel and be separated from the hydrocarbon mixture.

Product feature and application


1. Normal paraffins can be separated from branched chain hydrocarbons and cyclic hydrocarbons through selective adsorption process (currently used in industry for large-scale normal isoparaffin separation process);

2. 5A molecular sieve can also be used for hydrogen production by pressure swing adsorption;

3. It can adsorb any molecule with a pore size less than 5A. In addition to the effects of 3A and 4A kinds, it can also adsorb C3-C4 normal paraffins, ethyl chloride, ethyl bromide, butanol, etc. Normal isomerized hydrocarbon separation, pressure swing adsorption separation and co-adsorption of water and carbon dioxide.


Regeneration method:


1. Moisture removal: It depends on the pressure, temperature and water content of the regeneration gas. Under normal circumstances, 200-350 ℃ dry gas under the pressure of 0.3-0.5kg/cm, through the molecular sieve bed for 3-4 hours, the outlet temperature to 110-180 ℃, cooling.

2. Deorganization: replace organics with water vapor, and then remove moisture.
