Hydrocarbon steam reforming catalysts are all porous. Generally, the pore structure of the catalyst is different, and the surface area of the catalyst is different, which directly affects the different reaction speed, or due to the different hole structure affects the spread of reactant in the hole, the surface utilization rate of the catalyst is different, which affects the reaction speed. Different hole structures also affect a series of dynamic parameters (reaction level, speed constant, activation energy) and selectivity. In addition, it also affects the life of catalysts, mechanical strength, heat -resistant stability, etc.

Features

1. Hydrocarbon steam reforming catalysts has excellent anti-carbon performance and structure stability.

2. The catalyst  shape of 4-hole cylinder with dome provides it with large external geometric surface area, higher porosity, lower pressure drop, and better gas flow distribution etc..

3. Versatile catalyst options for various hydrocarbon feedstock used alone or combination. Switching or dosage adjustment of feeds does not affect the normal use of catalyst.

4. Excellent reducibility: through self- circulation reduction, natural gas feedstock can be directly introduced into the reformer without extra activation in advance, and pre- activation is needed only when heavy hydrocarbons are used as feedstock.

5. Excellent anti-poisoning and regeneration properties: can be self- renewal by optimizing operation conditions when sightly poisoned by sulfur or chlorine, while in-situ regeneration can be performed when poisoned seriously.

6. Suitable for steam reforming process with or without pre- reformer, even for pre- reformer switching on/off cases.

Application

1. Hydrocarbon steam reforming catalysts used in steam reforming process of hydrocarbons to produce hydrogen, ammonia synthesis gas, methanol synthesis gas, oxo- synthesis gas, carb on monoxide etc..

2. Suitable for a wide range of feedstock, such as naphtha with FBP less than 180℃, light hydrocarbons, LPOG, refinery off- gas, natural gas etc., which can be used alone or in combination.

3. Suitable for various types of tabular reformers with top-fired, fired, side -bottom -fired firebox or other configurations such as heatexchanger etc., AMC-Z-417 should beloaded in the upper section of the reformertubes in combination with AMC-Z-418 loaded in the lowder part.
