Production Introduction

Activated alumina water treatment produced by Avant can be used as high fluoride (fluorine removal ability) of drinking water defluoride agent, defluoride agent, and deacidification agent of transformer oil.

It is used as a drying cycle for the regeneration of oxygen industry, textile industry, electronics industry, alkylbenzene production of alkane gas, etc.

There are several ways to remove fluorine: 

(1) Membrane Method; 

(2) Flocculation Precipitation Method; 

(3) Ion Exchange Method; 

(4) Adsorption Filtration Method.

The main factors affecting the adsorption performance of water treatment activated alumina:

(1) Particle size: the smaller the particle size, the higher the adsorption capacity. But the smaller the particle size, the lower the particle strength;

(2) PH value of raw water: the lower the PH value, the higher the adsorption capacity of it;

(3) Initial fluorine concentration in raw water: the higher the initial fluorine concentration, the higher the adsorption capacity;

(4) Alkalinity of raw water: the concentration of bicarbonate in raw water is high, and the adsorption capacity is reduced;

(5) chloride ion and sulfate ion;

(6) Arsenic: water treatment activated alumina also has an adsorption effect on arsenic in water.

The accumulation of arsenic on it causes a decrease in the adsorption capacity of fluoride ions, and it is also difficult to wash out the arsenic samples during regeneration.
