Product Introduction:

Hydrated alumina is non-toxic, low or no smoke and low toxicity of combustion products due to its non-toxic, low smoke or smokeless nature. It does not migrate, does not seep out, does not pollute the environment, is permanently flame retardant and has low cost, which is in line with the general trend of flame retardants to environmentally friendly development and has become the main direction of flame retardant technology development. However, ATH is less compatible with polymers when used. And, in order to meet the specified flame retardant requirements, the amount added is larger, which has a greater impact on the mechanical properties and processing performance of the material. The key to solving this problem is surface modification of ATH.

Modified hydrate alumina adopts the domestic advanced production process, after a variety of additives and coupling agent activation modified surface treatment, high fineness, narrow particle size distribution, good flame retardant effect, high whiteness and low bulk density. 

Modified hydrate alumina can improve the bonding and processing of powder and resin, so that it has the dual performance of flame retardant and filling. Therefore, adding this product in plastics, rubber and other advanced composite materials not only makes the product have the effect of flame retardant and smoke elimination, but also enhances the leakage prevention, arc resistance and wear resistance.
