Sol-gel method for the preparation of alumina ceramic powder in ceramic coatings

Using easily hydrolyzed metal alcohol salts or inorganic salts to react with water in some kind of solvent, forming a sol by hydrolytic condensation, coating the sol on the surface of the metal substrate, and then forming a coating after drying and heat treatment.

Advantages: It can be carried out at low temperature and the prepared coating is of high quality.

Disadvantages: The process is complicated and time-consuming, and the film layer is prone to cracking.
