Four Measures toEnhance the Flame Retardant Performance

In order to meet the requirements of flame retardant performance, there are four measures to enhance it as below:

1) Surface treatment. Flame retardant filler can be covered by modifier annd increase the compatibility with resins, then the performance can be improved after the production.

2) Add synergist. It is a good way to increase performance of flame retardant when the filler reaches the top level but can not meet higher requirements. In order to maintain the recipes, add a small amount of synergist is necessary.

3) Mixing of different filler. Compared with single flame retardant filler, mixing of different filler can increase the properties obviously in productions.

4) Smaller particle size of the filler. The smaller particle size can increase flame retardant perforance because it has higher specific surface area and dispersibility etc. Those advantages makes the filler mixing with resin much better than before.
