Rare earth phosphors are commonly used luminescent materials. Rare earth phosphors consist of an activator and a matrix, the former being a rare earth element and the latter being an oxide or salt. In industry, high-temperature solid-phase synthesis is the main production method for rare earth phosphors. For aluminate-based products, 4N Grade High Purity Alumina is required. Rare earth phosphors are widely used and can be divided into three primary color phosphors for lamps, phosphors for white LEDs, phosphors for display and long-persistence phosphors.
