Product Introduction:
High whiteness aluminium hydroxide is a white loose powder with high whiteness and low bulk weight, stable at room temperature and dehydrated by thermal decomposition to produce aluminium oxide. It is different from other flame retardant fillers in that it does not produce toxic and corrosive gases when pyrolysed, and it absorbs heat and emits water vapour when pyrolysed, so that the products have the function of flame retardant and self-extinguishing. Therefore, adding this product in plastics, rubber and other advanced composite materials not only makes the products have the effect of flame retardant and smoke elimination, but also enhances the resistance to leakage, arc and abrasion.
Aluminum hydroxide is easily soluble in strong acid and alkali solutions, stable at room temperature, and decomposed into aluminum oxide when heated. It is mainly used as a filling material in low-voltage insulating devices and as a flame retardant filler in plastic, rubber and glass steel products.
