The difference between activated alumina ball and high alumina ball
The
calcined temperature of activated alumina ball is 350-600 degrees
Celsius, and the calcined temperature is low. After calcined, the ball
has a characteristic porosity, so that it has a good adsorption
capacity. The calcination temperature of the high aluminum ball is
1300-1500 degrees Celsius. The high temperature will solidify the
material, and the inactivity will increase its strength and wear
resistance. High aluminum ball is mainly used in grinding industry,
generally suitable for grinding powder material ball mill.
Activated
alumina ball forming process adopts disk forming, the general diameter
is 3-5mm, the ball is smaller than the high aluminum ball, the yield is
larger. The larger ball diameter of the high aluminum ball is generally
formed by isostatic pressing process, while the smaller ball is
generally made of disc roll.
The
bulk density of activated alumina ball is large, and the internal void
ratio should not be too high, so as to lose the active adsorption
capacity. The high aluminum ball can increase the accumulation density,
and the higher the accumulation density is, the better its wear
resistance will be.
