The application of Tabular alumina
Tabular alumina can be used as the main component in aluminum-carbon, aluminum-magnesium-carbon, magnesium-aluminum-carbon, magnesium-spinel, and aluminum-chromium refractory bricks, and can also be introduced into high-alumina refractory bricks as enriched alumina components. Among the shaped refractories, it can be widely used in steel, casting, ceramics and other industries, and the application in the steel industry almost covers the whole process of iron and steel making.
Application: Tabular alumina is an ideal refractory raw material, which can be used as aggregate in various aluminum refractory materials, and can also be added to other aluminum unshaped refractory materials. All fused corundum or white corundum application parts can be replaced by tabular corundum, and the performance of refractory materials can be improved.
Sintered tabular alumina is a dense crystal formed from pure alumina raw material, which is ground, shaped, dried, rapidly heated and cooled in a high-temperature shaft kiln.
