The active formation mechanism of magnesium oxide

1) Active magnesium oxide is also known as magnesium oxide with hydration ability, the expression has hydration rate, iodine absorption value, citric acid value, specific surface area, etc.

2) The formation of active magnesium oxide. Magnesite in the kiln calcination process, due to technical and other reasons caused by the different temperatures of ore calcination, when the temperature reaches 400-600 ℃, its internal structure is loose, the highest pore space between crystals, magnesium oxide presents the highest activity.

3) Then the calcination temperature reaches 750-850 ℃, its intercrystalline porosity decreases, reaching the best range of magnesium cement reaction, moderate activity. When the calcination temperature is greater than 900-1000 ℃, the formation of over-fire magnesium oxide, its activity is very low or even no activity. In a certain activity range, the high activity of the product quality is good, the low activity of the product quality is poor, but the under-fire magnesium oxide is not so, the higher its activity, the more intense the reaction, the more concentrated magnesium chloride exothermic, but the poorer the product quality, easy to crack and strength is not high.
