ATH is the most improtant flame retardannt filler in normal production of silicone rubber, the particle size of most suitable aluminum hydroxide is 1.5 to 2.0 um.

Manufacturers can use it directly, or make surface treatment like silane and stearic acid coated. Silane coated ATH can increase the properties of silicone rubber itself. Stearic acid coated ATH can increase the mold releasability and help to improve the production efficiency.
