High Purity Alumina Commonly Used Grinding Method

High purity alumina particle size control and grinding methods are mainly divided into the following: 


1. The most commonly used processing method is to grind through the ball mill, ball mill processing ultrafine high-purity alumina is a relatively economic and simple way.
The operation is simple and flexible, the production cost is low, but the processing of fine alumina has a relatively difficult nuclear problem; 

2. Mechanical grinding processing: mechanical grinding is also a more commonly used processing method, mainly producing high-quality grade ultra-fine alumina products;

3. Air mill: air mill grinding is a very ideal equipment for processing fine alumina raw materials. But high energy consumption, low output, high production cost, high equipment price.
So many manufacturers usually don't choose, unless some of the primary alumina crystal size and particle size requirements are very strict grade products.  

4. Other processing methods, such as adding chemical additives for chemical reaction grinding or direct grinding mill grinding and other grinding methods. These grinding methods are relatively large processing costs and other shortcomings.
At present, most of the high purity alumina manufacturers in China are based on the method of ball mill grinding products.
