The Effects Of Activated Alumina In The Production of Hydrogen Peroxide
In the productions of H2O2, activated alumina acts important role in the whole process.
1. Adsorb lye solution. Because of the strong adsorption, it can make the concentration lower than 0.005g/L and reach the conditions of hydrogenation.
2. Adsorb moisture. It can make the concentration of moisture in the solution lower than 3m/L but effect reduces a lot when reach saturation status.
3. Decompose hydrogen peroxide. Activated alumina is supplement measure of alkali tower(60~70%) as the decomposition efficiency can reach to 20~30%.
4. Regenerate degradation materials. It can make the regeneration of ethyl anthrone and EANOH, save cost of productions.
5. Filter out impurities. During the replacement of activated alumina, it can help to filter out the impurities like degradation materials, accelerant powder, alumina clay etc in the layers.
6. Purify hydrogen peroxide. It is a efficiency and low cost measure for the concentration and purification of H2O2 residue.
