Refining Process - Atmospheric And Vacuum Distillation

Based on the evaporation ability of distillation tower, petroleum raw materials can be divided into different oil(called fraction) according to their rang of boiling points.

Those oil can be selled after blending and adding additives and most of them can be used as materials of further processes of refining. Therefore, atmospheric and vacuum distillation can be called as the primary processing of crude oil.

There are three processes included: desalination and dehydration of crude oil, atmospheric distillation, vacuum distillation.
