Molecular Sieve Adsorbent in The Production Process of Several Important Components
Molecular sieve is a special adsorbent commonly used, it is a synthetic hydrated aluminum silicate (foamed zeolite) or natural zeolite. It has the characteristics of high adsorption capacity, strong selectivity and high temperature resistance. Molecular sieve adsorbent is widely used in organic chemical industry and petrochemical industry, and is also an excellent adsorbent for gas dehydration.
Wastewater, waste gas and purification are getting more and more attention.
The following is a detailed introduction of several important technical parameters in the production process.
1. Particle size: the appearance index of microspheres made of molecular sieve adsorbents. The granularity is controlled between the upper and lower limits, greater than 95%. The floor and ceiling cannot exceed 5%.
2. Compressive strength: due to the use of microspheres working conditions may be based on large pressure difference, if the compressive strength does not meet the requirements, it is easy to cause molecular sieve damage, not only affect the service life, but also cause equipment pipe blockage, causing serious consequences.
3. Bulk density: the bulk density of molecular sieve adsorbent is proportional to the compressive strength. In the case of constant adsorption capacity, the larger the bulk density, the better.
4. Water content of the package: the smaller the water content of the package, the less the pre-adsorption of the microspheres in the storage and transportation process. For the user, except for unnecessary regeneration disposal, its value is greater.
