How often does the air compressor desiccant need to be replaced?

Air compressor desiccant is also called activated alumina ball desiccant, aluminum glue desiccant, mainly filled in the adsorption dryer equipment adsorption tank, used to adsorb water in the air. Adsorption dryer has two tanks, adsorption and regeneration alternately. It has strong adsorption ability and crushing resistance ability.

So the problem comes, how often does the general air compressor desiccant need to be replaced once. It depends on the terminal customer's requirements for gas quality.

As the use time becomes longer, the adsorption capacity of the air compressor desiccant gradually becomes weaker. If the requirements are high and the pressure dew point temperature is also high, the replacement frequency will be higher, and it only needs to be replaced every six months to a year. On the contrary, the end customer does not have high requirements for the gas, and a higher pressure dew point temperature is acceptable, so the replacement frequency is lower, and the use time is longer, as long as the adsorption tank does not enter a large amount of water and oil to cause the air compressor to dry The powdering of the agent can be used for a long time. About 2-3 years of use is no problem.

When buying air compressor desiccant (activated alumina ball), it is recommended to find a formal manufacturer and avoid buying Henan refurbished alumina. Although it is cheap but the quality is relatively poor, the powder is severely broken and the strength is low, which is likely to cause greater economic losses. The gain is not worth the loss. 

The so-called refurbished alumina is to recycle the waste activated alumina balls, and then bleach and dry them for sale again.
