Glass fiber reinforced plastics(GFRP or FRP) is a composite plastic that produced by glass fiber, unsaturated polyester, epoxy resin and phenolic resin etc.

According to the using of different glass fiber, it can be devided into glass fiber reinforced plastics, carbon fiber reinforced plastics and boron fiber reinforced plastics.

It has to properties of light weight, high specific strength, corrosion resistance, good electrical insulation, slow heat transfer, good thermal insulation etc.
