Application of Molecular Sieve in Insulating Glass
Insulating glass is a kind of good heat insulation, sound insulation, beautiful and applicable, and can reduce the weight of a new building material. It is made of two pieces (or three pieces) of glass, the use of high strength and high air tightness composite binder, the glass and containing desiccant aluminum alloy frame bonding, made of GAO efficiency sound insulation and heat insulation glass.
Insulating glass has a variety of properties superior to ordinary double-layer glass, so DE has been recognized by countries in the world. Insulating glass is a glass product that separates two or more pieces of glass to effectively support evenly and seals around, so that a dry gas space is formed between the glass layers. Its main material is glass, warm edge interval strip, corner bolt, butyl rubber, polysulfide glue, desiccant.
The materials that can be absorbed by the desiccant in the insulating glass sealing device are water, air, argon, krypton, xenon, sulfur hexafluoride and organic solvents. The U value and noise reduction performance of the insulating glass were improved by filling the spacer with argon, krypton, xenon and sulfur hexafluoride gases. Organic solutions may be derived from sealing materials, cutting oils and paint interior aesthetics. 3A molecular sieve only water absorption, 4A molecular sieve water absorption, air, argon, krypton gas, do not absorb xenon, sulfur hexafluoride and solvents. 13X molecular sieves and silica gel absorb all of these substances.
Because there is a molecular sieve that can adsorb water molecules inside the hollow glass, the gas is dry. When the temperature drops, the interior of the hollow glass will not produce condensation phenomenon. Meanwhile, the dew point on the outer surface of the hollow glass will also rise.
For example, when the outdoor wind speed is 5m/s, the indoor temperature is 20℃, and the relative humidity is 60%, the 5mm glass starts dew condensation at the outdoor temperature of 8℃, while the 16mm (5+6+5) insulating glass starts dew condensation at the outdoor temperature of -2℃ under the same conditions, and the 27mm (5+6+5+6+5) three-layer insulating glass starts dew condensation at the outdoor temperature of -11℃.
