Middle East is one of the most important markerts of our company as we have agent in there. Stable supplying and price level are best ways to maintain relationships with customers.

In eary 2022, the ocean freight from Qingdao to Middle East was low and stable, because most of northern China manufacturers stopped prodcutions to keep the protection of environment for Beijing Olympics.

After middle March, productions resumed and exports increasing step by step but ocean freight was stable also. However, more and more cargos were booked and shipped from Qingdao port from early Apr, when lockdown started in Shanghai.

Shipping companies collecting higher and higher ocean freight, choosing lighter containers as priorty. Increasing cost makes the CIF price higher and business harder. Finally, it affects all industies.
