Activated Alumina Effect

Activated alumina has selective adsorption capacity for gas, water vapor and some liquid moisture. After the adsorption is saturated, it can be revived by heating at about 175-315°C to remove water. Adsorption and resurrection can be performed multiple times. In addition to being used as a desiccant, it can also adsorb the vapor of lubricating oil from polluted oxygen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, natural gas, etc. It can also be used as catalyst and catalyst carrier and chromatography analysis carrier.

Activated alumina belongs to the category of chemical alumina. It is mainly used in adsorbents, water purifiers, catalysts and catalyst carriers. According to different uses, its raw materials and preparation methods are different.

Under certain operating conditions and regeneration conditions, the drying depth of the product is as high as the dew point temperature -70 degrees or less. [Use of activated alumina]: This product can be used as a fluoride removal agent for high-fluorine drinking water (large fluorine removal capacity ), defluorinating agent for circulating alkanes in the production of alkylbenzene, deacidification regenerating agent for transformer oil, used as oxygen industry, textile industry, electronic industry gas drying, automatic instrument wind drying, and in chemical fertilizer, petrochemical drying and other industries Used as a desiccant and purifier (the dew point can reach -40 degrees), and the pressure swing adsorption dew point can reach -55 degrees in the air separation industry. It is an efficient desiccant for deep drying of trace water. It is very suitable for non-heat regeneration devices.

Relevant introduction to activated alumina for fluoride removal: China's "Drinking Water Hygiene Code" stipulates that the content of fluoride must not exceed 1.0mg/L. Raw water with too high fluoride is often alkalescent, and its PH value is often greater than 7.5.

Fluoride removal methods are roughly divided into the following categories: (1) adsorption filtration method; (2) membrane method; (3) flocculation precipitation method; (4) ion exchange method.
