Why is the application market of high purity alumina more and more widely used?

High purity alumina refers to alumina with a purity grade higher than 99.9% (3N). It is a precious high-value product that can be used in a wide range of applications such as high performance electronics, tablet, smartphone and computer screen backlighting; LED and hybrid vehicles.

Although high-purity alumina is used in a range of markets, it is reported that more than 60% of high-purity alumina is used in the LED industry. The report pointed out that the world's high-purity alumina production is 15,000 tons per year, and the expected compound annual growth rate is about 7%.
