Application: in industry, ordinary ceramics are mainly used for electric porcelain for insulation, chemical porcelain with higher requirements on acid and alkali, and for structural parts with lower bearing requirements, such as insulators, corrosion-resistant containers, pipes, decorative porcelain in daily life, tableware, etc.
Alumina ceramics is mainly composed of AL2O3 ceramics (AL2O3 mass fraction is divided into >45%). According to the different main crystal phase in the porcelain billet, it can be divided into corundum porcelain, corundum mullite porcelain and mullite porcelain, etc. It can also be divided into 75 porcelain, 95 porcelain and 99 porcelain according to the mass fraction of AL2O3.
Application:
Alumina ceramic has high melting point, high hardness, high strength, good chemical corrosion resistance and dielectric properties. But the brittleness, impact resistance and thermal shock resistance are poor, so it cannot bear the drastic change of ambient temperature. Can be used in the manufacture of high temperature furnace tube, furnace lining, internal combustion engine spark plug, but also can manufacture high hardness cutting tools, is the manufacture of thermocouple insulation sleeve good material.
