The Effect of boehmite on separators and batteries.
Boehmite has excellent insulation, chemical and electrochemical stability, heat resistance and so on. It can improve the thermal stability of diaphragm, improve the safety of lithium ion battery, improve the rate performance and cycle performance of battery under low coating thickness.
AVANT's boehmstone products can be used for both ternary lithium batteries and lithium iron phosphate batteries.
Each of these has a different effect on the diaphragm and the battery.

1. Particle size distribution
The particle size distribution is narrow. The coating uniformity is good, the lithium ion channel formed on the diaphragm is uniform, the lithium battery performance is better.
2. Magnetic content
Low magnetic content. Improve the cell yield, and reduce the lithium battery in the process of self-discharge, improve the safety performance of lithium battery.
3. Water absorption
The coated diaphragm has low water content, weak water absorption, and can be kept dry to improve the safety performance of lithium batteries.

4. Purity
High purity. The higher the boehmite purity, the stronger the thermal stability and chemical stability, so as to improve the cell yield.
5. Hardness
Low hardness reduces wear and tear on coated equipment, prolongs equipment life, and also reduces the risk of harmful foreign matter being introduced into the cell.
6. Specific gravity
The proportion of light. Compared with alumina, the area can be coated per unit weight, reducing the cost of coating lithium battery diaphragm, reducing the weight of lithium battery, improve the energy density.
