The application of cerium oxide

CeO2 and its composite oxides are prepared into nanoscale and regular shaped nanoparticles such as nanospheres, nanorods or nanowires, nanotubes and nanosheets. Its excellent properties can be greatly exploited, and many new properties and applications will appear, for example, in automobile exhaust purification catalysts, Nano-CeO2 and its composite oxides have large specific surface area and high oxygen storage capacity, and the dispersion of noble metal particles can be greatly improved, so the catalytic activity of the three-way catalyst can be greatly improved. CeO2 doping can also be used to prepare materials with other electrical properties.
