Aluminium oxide production by dry sintering

A method for producing aluminium oxide clinker by dry sintering, characterized in that: it proceeds according to the following steps:

(1) Mixing crushed low-grade aluminum resources, limestone, water reducing agent and lye to form a mixture.

(2) Grinding the mixture into slurry in a ball mill, adding circulating mother liquor and making the slurry moisture content of 30 ~ 36%.

(3)Analyze the Na2O content in the slurry, if Na2O is not enough, add Na2CO3 at the same time. Adding water reducing agent to grind.

(4) Use ceramic plunger pump to pump the slurry into the spray drying tower, using the hot air from the roller kiln cooling section, drying and dehydration, the slurry is dried and dehydrated by the spray drying tower to form fine pellets.

(5) The fine pellets are put into the forming extruder using the capacity fabric device to form slabs, and the slabs are pushed into the roller conveyor of the roller kiln, and the slabs are formed into sintered materials through the drying section, preheating section and sintering section, and the sintered materials are placed in the cooling section of the roller kiln and air-cooled to 100°C+10°C before entering the clinker bin, and the sintered materials entering the clinker bin are semi-finished products, and the semi-finished products are cooled again to become finished products. The hot air generated during the cooling again is the secondary air, which is used for the dewatering and drying of the slurry in the spray drying tower.
